FINANCIAL SERVICES
Keep invoices, balances and follow-up organised.
Unclear customer and supplier balances create avoidable questions across a business. We help organise the records behind receivables and payables, making outstanding items easier to review and responsibilities easier to assign. The service supports a controlled administrative process without assuming authority over your commercial decisions or payments.
Strengthen the receivables picture
The scope can include maintaining approved customer invoices, matching receipts, reviewing ageing reports and identifying balances that need clarification. Disputes, credits and unidentified receipts are recorded for the responsible person to resolve. Any customer communication is governed by agreed instructions. Credit terms, write-offs and collection decisions remain management responsibilities unless specifically addressed in a separate authorised arrangement.
Make payables easier to review
For supplier records, we can help organise bills, match supporting information and reconcile agreed balances. A clear distinction between a recorded liability, a disputed item and an approved payment reduces confusion. Changes to supplier bank details require verification through a controlled process; an emailed change should not automatically be treated as sufficient approval to pay.
Use a shared exception list
We recommend a practical register that identifies the item, amount where appropriate, reason for the question, owner and next action. The handover may include ageing summaries, reconciled schedules and a review routine. Work on historical or disputed balances depends on the available evidence, and no recovery of a debt or settlement of a dispute is guaranteed.
Frequently asked questions
Will you make payments for us?
Payment execution is not included by default. Your engagement must expressly define any authorised operational role and the controls that apply.
Can this include old balances?
Yes, subject to a review of the records. Historical clean-up may require a separate scope if the supporting information is incomplete.
