IMPLEMENTATION
Understand what to improve before deciding to rebuild.
An underperforming system does not always need to be replaced. Problems may arise from incomplete data, unclear roles, configuration choices or a workflow that has changed since the original setup. We review an agreed part of the environment and help identify practical options for improvement.
Review the problem in context
We begin with the tasks that are difficult, the reports that cannot be relied on or the repeated work that consumes time. Discussions, sample records and appropriate access help separate a training issue from a configuration problem or a product limitation. The review scope identifies the systems and processes examined; it is not an unrestricted security or compliance assessment.
Prioritise changes by purpose
Findings are organised around their effect on the agreed business objectives. Recommendations may include data correction, permission changes, simplified workflows, additional training or a separately scoped integration. Where a rebuild or migration appears useful, the reasoning and dependencies are explained. We avoid recommending change simply because a different platform is available.
Create an actionable improvement plan
The handover can include a findings register, proposed priorities, owners and acceptance conditions. Implementation of the recommendations is agreed separately, with testing and approval before production changes are made. The review documents the issues and risks observed within the agreed scope and review period.
Frequently asked questions
Can the review be limited to one problem?
Yes. A focused review may be appropriate for a reconciliation issue, reporting gap or recurring approval bottleneck.
Will you change the system during the review?
Not without authorisation. Investigation, recommendations and production changes are separate activities with appropriate approvals.
